Venezuelan criminologist.Live in Denver since 1994. Founder/ President of SOS Venezuela Denver in 2014. Co-Founder of the Venezuelan Meet & Greet Networking event since 2015. Love to live in Colorado. Enjoy dancing, traveling around the world, a good conversation, meeting new people.

 

 Frank Hernandez Marquez

Volunteers Director & Public Relations 

Frank Hernandez is from Barquisimeto- Lara, Venezuela. He is a young engineer of Telecommunications and Audiovisual Arts, graduated in Venezuela.

Frank came to the United States in 2014. He is operating as an authorized distributor of Royal Prestige company, USA. He uses his experience in managing sales, team building, professional development, sales strategy, and company collaboration.

Frank joined SOSVenezuela-Denver as a volunteer in 2018. Later became part of our Board of Directors.
In his spare time, Frank likes to practice Motocross, Mountain Bike, Soccer, and Rugby.
His family now joined him on a business adventure in Denver, where Frank is a CEO of J. Mark. Company.

 

 Rosalba Guerra - President 

Industrial Engineer, Venezuelan-American, in the US since 1997. Member Founder of SOS Venezuela Denver. She has been working in nonprofits since 2000, related to Venezuela help Relief help, Human Rights, and Transparent Elections in Venezuela. Love living in Colorado, running, downhill skiing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

  

 Yanire Silva -

Vice-President 

From Valencia-Venezuela, country that Yanire catalogs as "beautiful and full of culture, with a natural living nature, that could take your breath away in seconds". She studied two university subjects in Venezuela: Programmer Analyst and Music Education. With her husband they actively participate in a non-profit Christian organization, Globeville Community Church, since 1998. 

She has been working as a Court Judicial  Assistant for the Colorado State Courts  for the last 20 years.

 

 

 Frances Buechel - Director of Outreaching funds and Volunteers Coordination

Frances Buechel is a Metallurgical Engineer, graduated in New York with successful experience in aeronautical.

Frances was born in New York, from Venezuelan parents, and raised in Venezuela. She has two daughters, Hannah and Judith. She is a strong supporter of humanitarian causes. 

Frances joined SOSVenezuela-Denver as a volunteer at the end of 2019. She became part of the board member in 2020.

 Frances enjoys traveling, spend time by the ocean, painting, and gardening.

 Sol Zachau - 

Campaigns and Events Director 

Sol Zachau, is from Maracay, Venezuela. After graduating from College in Business Administration and Marketing, Sol moved in 1998 to The United States to study English as a second language at the University Of Washington, in Seattle. Then, moved to Miami in year 2000, where she started working in the fashion industry. In 2009, she moved to Denver and fell in love with beautiful state of Colorado and their people. She is a Real Estate Professional since 2013 and one of the things she loves most about what she does is the opportunity to meet and work with people as diverse in language, culture, and profession as herself. Hiking, biking, traveling, and skiing are just a few of the activities she enjoys with her family and friends. Sol joined SOSVenezuela- Denver in 2020.
